Amar Mahal Palace stands on the bank of river Tawi and offers a magnificent view of majestic Sivalik ranges. The palace was built by a Dogra king who was the last official residence of the Dogra gharana; Suryavanshi Rajputs.

 

7. Kangla Palace, Manipur

The Kangla Palace is constructed by the Meitei rulers of Manipur on the western bank of the river Imphal. This palace is situated at the heart of the Imphal and is a holy place for religious worship.

 

8. Jahangir Palace, Agra

The Royal Chowmahalla Palace in Andhra Pradesh belongs to the Nizams of Hyderabad. It is located at the centre of Hyderabad and is renowned for its unique style, elegant design and intricate work. Situated just next to the famous Charminar, this palace too attracts a lot of tourist attention.

 

10. Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, Tamil Nadu

11. Aga Khan Palace, Pune
